I’m pretty sure I get more excited about my Fall “wish list” than I do my Spring one. As I’ve said many times before, Fall is my season; therefore, my Fall wish list tends to be a little long.
Oh yeah, and I may or may not have listened to a little bit of Christmas music last night…I just love this time of year!
Below are a few of my favorites from my wish list. What are you wishing to add to your closet this Fall?
Cedar Street Medium Harmony Tote
This mystic blue color is really chic. I would have it monogrammed, and it would go with almost everything in my closet. I’m pretty sure of it, in fact.
2016 Kate Spade Planner
I have Kate Spade’s 2015 planner, and I adore the design/layout. It’s easy to find everything I need, and keeps me organized. I’m naturally a planner, and if I don’t write it down, it won’t get done. This is a must-have on my Christmas list. I was sold on the stripes/polka dots combo. Two of my favorites!
Factory Striped Funnelneck Sweatshirt
This would look great with jeans, especially my white ones. I could also see wearing this over workout gear while running errands, too.
Factory Rolled Turtleneck Sweater
I bought this sweater last year in navy blue, and I cannot tell you how much I have worn it. It’s such a great sweater alone or layered. I would love to add more colors to my collection.
Factory Vail Parka
I know, another coat. I love this peach color, and a faux fur trim? Yes, please!
Have a great Tuesday, Friends!

As some of you may already know, I love am obsessed with having a great winter coat. I have no problem admitting it, either. It’s actually become a family joke now. I love my coats so much so, that I literally plan my entire outfit around them some days. Yes. I really do. I used to buy nothing but camel or black coats because they’re classic, and go with everything. However, now more than ever, I’m loving the pretty pastel coats to really brighten up a cold, winter’s day.

If you’re in the market for a new winter coat, below are a few pretty pastel favorites.
Double-Cloth Lady Day Coat
This coat is simply gorgeous. I have this in a hot pink (from a few years back) and still LOVE it. In my opinion, the name says it all. It comes in several bright colors, but my first choice would be this subtle pink.
Stadium-Cloth Cocoon Coat
So, Santa came a few months early this year! I have worn this coat once so far on our trip to the mountains, and I could not be happier with the soft mint color!
Wool Wrap Coat
I really like this coat for a more casual, every day look. I would pair this with jeans and skinny pants. It looks so cozy, doesn’t it?
Emilie Coat
This blue blush color is so, so pretty. The length looks great, too. Another classic coat to add to your collection.
Have a happy Monday, Friends!

If I had to choose one accessory that I’m loving for Fall, it’s the blanket scarf. No matter what outfit you’re wearing, it instantly makes you look more put together. Even as a busy SAHM, I still want to look put together. I may be chasing after my little one, running errands for our family, or out on a date night with my husband, but you can bet you’ll be seeing me in this trend, and on heavy rotation.
Below are a few I’ll be adding to my scarf collection this Fall/Winter.
Happy a happy Monday, friends!

There’s nothing I love more than sweater weather. I went to school in the mountains, so sweaters have been “my thing’ ever since. And, I don’t pair mine with a turtleneck or a basic tee, either. I love to layer a pretty blouse (short sleeve or long sleeve) underneath mine. Some of the tops I layer under sweaters are actually summer tops. In my opinion, it’s makes what could be a boring sweater more feminine and stylish. I love getting the most mileage out of my clothing, don’t you?
Below are a few sweaters I’ve got my eyes on right now.
Happy Shopping, Friends!
Happy Saturday, Friends!
It’s been a whirlwind of a week here, hence the lack of blog posts, and please know that I’ve missed it terribly. My computer was acting up, and now that we’ve got that working again, I’m back! So, I thought I’d pop in and say “hello!” as well as share some things that I’m loving lately.
Joules Field Welly Rain Boots
As you know, I’ve been searching for a good pair of rain boots, and I found these on Amazon. I absolutely LOVE them. They are so cute and comfortable. I really like the pink, because it adds a little bit of happiness to an otherwise gloomy, rainy day. The best part is that they’re on amazon prime, and we were able to use our cash back bonus to pay for them! Gotta love it when that happens! Guilt-free shopping – sold!
Who doesn’t love a good coffee table book? Especially one from Kate Spade? My sweet husband surprised me with pre-ordering this one for me. I cannot wait to flip through it while sipping a good cup of coffee (during my little one’s nap, of course!).
Threshold Brown Faux Fur Throw
This is an incredibly soft & chic throw I recently added to our family room. My little one loves it just as much as I do. It’s machine washable, thank goodness. And, right now, it’s 15% off!
And, this is always a good reminder…

Happy Monday, Everyone! I hope that y’all had a fantastic weekend. I know we sure did. We did a little bit of this and that around the house, but mostly relaxed in this slightly cooler weather!
Our new chandelier is amazing in our master bedroom. My husband actually admitted after he put it up that it looked good! It’s going to sound silly, but I wake up feeling like a princess in our room now! I absolutely love it, and it so much better than our fan, which was barely used anyway.
I added the little white baby lamp shades that I already had from years ago to make it feel more cozy. I love the simplicity of this chandelier. It’s modern, yet still classic.
I did decorate a little bit for Fall. Mostly pumpkins sprinkled here and there around the house and on the front door, of course. We burned our new Harvest candle from Target during dinner times and at night. It makes the house smell so good!
Lastly, we played outside a lot with our little one! Like I’ve said before, this is my season, and I couldn’t be happier that it’s started!

I am in need/search of some new rain boots. Mine literally had a hole in them, so it was time to throw them away. I run errands in them, garden in them, and simply throw them on to go in and out of the house a lot. I am thinking about this pair or this pair.
Happy Monday, Friends!

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone enjoyed their last weekend of Summer. I’m happy to report that I am currently blogging in our new seafoam/mint master bedroom! I couldn’t bring myself to move my computer up to my office today. My husband did a fantastic job painting this weekend, and we are pleased as punch with the results!
I always look to J.Crew to set the trends for Fall, and they’ve done it again. I love browsing their “new arrivals.” Some of these new arrivals are currently on sale, too. I’ve rounded up a few that I’ve added to my Fall “wish list!”
Silk Drapey V-neck Blouse
This blouse is classic. I know it would get a lot of wear this Fall.
V-Neck Cardigan in Fringe Trim
I love the fringe trim. Such a new take on a classic cardigan.
Stadium-Cloth Cocoon Coat
I’m pretty sure I’m asking Santa for this coat this year!
Suede d’Orsay Loafer Flats
These are adorable. They come in 3 colors. I’m in love with this strawberry color!
Palm Earrings
I love the color mix here. It feels very fresh for Fall.
What’s on your “wish list” for Fall? Anything from J.Crew?
Have a happy day!

First of all, I want to apologize for my absence, as I have been trying to keep up with the blog in between a teething toddler (which means lots of nap drives and Starbucks drive-thru runs for us the past two months), and now a sick toddler after a play date last week. I would typically blog during a nap time, but since I’ve been out on nap drives instead, this blog has had to take a back seat for a little while. The good news is that during those nap drives, I’ve been able to do a lot of brainstorming for the blog, so between my little one getting rest, I’ve been productive too!
On a random side note, I’ve actually started to get up about an hour & 1/2 before everyone else in the house (around 5:30AM) to do some blogging and sip my first cup of coffee while the sun rises. It’s actually really peaceful & relaxing for me. Contrary to what some people think of a SAHM life is, there’s no such thing as “me time” or “free time.” I wouldn’t have it any other way either. I LOVE taking care of my family. So, the nap time blogging is changing to early morning blogging going forward.
For all of those still with me, thank you, and please know that I love this little creative space of mine, and I do intend to have tons of great posts to share with you! I just wanted to pop in and give you a little update on me/us, so you don’t think I’ve forgotten about you!
What are your plans for this long weekend ahead? Our plans include: relaxing and painting our master bedroom. Which really means, my husband will be painting, while I watch our toddler! This has been on our “to-do” list since we’ve moved into the house 3 years ago, and I could not be more excited! For 3 years, I’ve been thinking of painting it a “seafoam” mint color; however, now I’m thinking…a very light gray? What to do?
Here are a few bedroom paint colors that have inspired me from Pinterest:
Which color do you guys like better?
I hope y’all have a happy labor day weekend!

It’s the last day in August, and that’s right, all I’m thinking about is Fall.
This is my season. And it’s so close.
I’m dreaming about playing outside with my little one, going to the mountains to see the leaves changing, outdoor patio date nights with my husband, dinners made in the crockpot, pumpkin spice lattes, Fall décor & candles, and of course, awesome fall outfits that include sweaters, cute coats, boots, snoods, and lots of layers.
I am so in L.O.V.E. with this coat, handbag and pair of boots right now!
Factory Wool Dress Coat
This wine color is simply gorgeous for Fall.
Sole Society Andie Tall Boot
These would look great with pretty much everything this Fall.
Ann Taylor Signature Tote
I love the zipper detail on this tote. This shape is my favorite style, and it looks like it will hold everything I need from diapers & toys to sunglasses & lip gloss, etc.! This is what I would call “tote perfection!”
Are you as excited as I am for Fall?
