Fancy Favorites

T.G.I.F! I hope y’all had a great week, and I know we’re all excited about the weekend! We’ve been soaking up these last few weeks of Summer before the school year starts again. Summer has flown by for us, anyone else feel this way?

Here’s another edition of “Fancy Favorites!”

ONE
7 For All Mankind Skinny Jeans

These jeans are my “go-to, wear with everything style!” Hands down my favorite pair of jeans that I own. I’ve been wearing them for years now, and they’re always the best fit!

TWO
Vince Camuto Satin Blouse

I’m in love with this blouse! So simple, yet oh so chic. A perfect year round top. It comes in 3 other colors.

THREE
J.Crew Ballet Flats

These days I mostly wear flats (another reason to love the skinny jeans above) during the day. These are definitely in my cart for Fall!

FOUR
MCM Large Liz Reversible Shopper

This tote will not only hold everything, it literally goes with everything you could possible wear. It’s definitely what I would call a “classic investment,” and it’s on my wishlist!
Dear Santa, I’ve been really good this year, like really, really good!

This is a great “transitional” outfit into Fall. Especially on days when we get those chilly mornings, that quickly heat up around lunch time here in the South. I found this pretty, lace blouse at Target, and I fell in love with the bell sleeves & detail. I also like this one, and this one, too. These jeans have been on repeat, and will continue to be into the Fall/Winter months. I love the undone hem for something new, and they’re so comfortable with the higher waist.
This Stadium coat has been redesigned year after year, by J.Crew, because it’s just that good. It’s so warm, but what I like best about this coat is that it’s available in all of the happiest, brightest colors. Who doesn’t want to be “cheery” in the cooler months? I know, I definitely do! Right now, I’m eyeing the pink one (it’s currently on sale!). I bought this “mint” one two years ago, and wear it year after year, so it’s totally worth the investment. It adds just the right “pop” of color that you crave in the cooler months, especially to a neutral outfit like I’m wearing in this post.

Have a happy day, Friends!

Shopping Wish List

Happy Thursday, Friends! It’s almost Friday! Yay! Our temperatures aren’t anywhere close to wearing Fall clothes yet; however, Fall is on my mind all.of.the.time! I can’t wait for those bright blue skies, with cool crisp breezes. Until then, we’ll dream about them!

So, here’s what’s on my shopping “wish list” & some may or may not already be in my closet!

Happy Shopping!

Halogen Tie Bell Sleeve Sweater

Tie Bell Sleeve Sweater
This sweater is absolutely adorable, and it also comes 2 other colors, grey and black. I love the longer split hem, but what really sold me were the sleeves…tie bell sleeves!

J.Crew Cold Shoulder Sweater

So fun and classic for a date night out this Fall/Winter! It’s on sale now, too!

J.Crew Embellished Floral Top

j.crew floral top
I’m totally going to snag this beauty up while it’s on sale! It’s a great layering piece for under blazers & cardigans, or worn alone all dressed up!

J.Crew V-neck sweater with shirt cuffs

j.crew V-neck sweater with cuffs
I really like the look of layers, and this sweater comes without all of the fuss! I prefer the classic grey, but it also comes in a pretty purple color.

Topshop Ruffle Cold Shoulder Top

Ruffle Cold Shoulder Top
Such a cute top for a date night! I own this in the light blue. I’m thinking about adding another color to my closet, it’s that good!

J.Crew Button Mock Neck Top

J.Crew Striped Sweater
Another  great Fall/Winter (even Spring/Summer) wardrobe staple. J.Crew never disappoints, ever.

Leith Ripped Step Hem Skinny Jeans

Step hem jeans
Skinny jeans are my favorite denim style, and this pair has my interest, especially since they’re under $100! I really love the step hem look, and the wash of this pair!

A Fall must-have for me is a cute pair of leopard flats. You’ll wear them with literally everything.

An investment for sure, but a “go-to” year after year!

This gingham top is so fun to dress up for Summer, especially with the pop of neon pink! And, the ruffle sleeves are pretty much my favorite finishing touch. I actually bought this top last Fall from J.Crew, and I couldn’t wait to wear it once we had our second little one. These would be just as pretty in my closet: thisthis, and this top would just be a dream! If it’s the color pink, it’s sure to catch my attention. I can’t turn down a feminine top. (I don’t know who can?) I paired this top with these pants because they’re classic, and literally go with almost every top in my closet. It also looks great with these white jeans, or scallop shorts, too.

SHOP THE POST:
J.Crew Gingham Top (old, similar and similar) / Banana Republic Linen pants / Chinese Laundry Sandals / Louis Vuitton (gifted, similar) / Kate Spade Bracelet / Kate Spade Watch (old, similar) / Handpicked earrings (old, similar)

Hope you have a great Monday!

Cream of the Crop

I’m not one to try many trends since I tend to be more classic in style, but since I’m wearing more denim than ever these days, I figured why not, right? And, I know for a fact that I can mix my daily uniform of a pretty blouse and flats with them, too. Completely justified. I will say, I’m pretty intrigued with the latest denim trend: the crop flare.

I’m 5’10, so this will either work or not work for me. Plus, I’m not willing to invest a lot until I know it’s a trend worth sticking around in my life. I’ve got these in my shopping cart right now. Have you tried this trend? Are you as intrigued as me? I mean they preached to us for years, “no high waters…” Ha, how time can change a lot. Now I’m really rethinking throwing out all of those jeans that shrunk on me in high school and college. Word to the wise – never throw anything out.

Happy Thursday, Everyone!
